Peter Jamieson started his long career in financial services after training as an engineer in the RAF and spending five years as a technical author with Rolls Royce. He has been an independent adviser for most of his working life, except for an 8 year period as a branch manager for a large international life assurance company. Peter formed his own IFA company, Jamieson Kingswood & Co, in 1989 which he ran successfully until April 2005 when the company merged with Daly Harvey Morfitt.
Having encountered almost every type of economic situation and market condition over the past thirty years, Peter knows the importance of keeping up to date and being adaptable. While considering himself as a general practitioner, as his long-standing clientele has started to reach their life goals, so retirement, post retirement investment and IHT planning feature highly in his casework.
